1. Forge Unlock & Basic Mechanics
1.1 Where to Find the Volcano Forge
Mini Forge (New in 1.6): Unlock its crafting recipe by maxing Combat Mastery. Place it anywhere on your farm with identical functions to the Volcano Forge, no more repeated trips to Ginger Island.

1.2 Four Core Forge Functions
- Gem Reforging: Consume gems + Cinder Shards to boost base stats, only valid for swords, clubs, and daggers.
- Prismatic Shard Enchanting: Spend a Prismatic Shard to roll one powerful exclusive enchantment on a weapon.
- Dragon Tooth Buffs: Craft bonuses with Dragon Teeth to stack extra combat perks, separate from Prismatic enchantments.
- Extra Utilities: Swap weapon skins, merge two rings, erase all reforging/enchantment progress.
1.3 Required Crafting Materials
- Cinder Shards: Dropped by monsters and mined volcanic rocks inside the Volcano Dungeon; required for every forge operation.
- Prismatic Shards: Extremely rare drops from mine chests, fishing, Ginger Island, and the Travelling Cart, used for top-tier enchantments.
- Dragon Teeth: Looted from Volcano floor monsters; Lava Lurks have a 15% drop rate, only usable on low-tier weapons.
2. Gem Reforging System (Max 3 Reforges Per Weapon)
1st reforge: 10 Cinder Shards
2nd reforge: 15 Cinder Shards
3rd reforge: 20 Cinder Shards
Diamonds have a unique mechanic: they fill all remaining reforge slots instantly for only 10 Cinder Shards, granting random all-stat bonuses.
Fixed Stat Boosts for Each Gem
- Ruby: +10% minimum & maximum damage per rank — universal DPS pick for all weapons.
- Emerald: +2 attack speed at Rank 1 & 3, +3 at Rank 2 — essential for slow clubs.
- Aquamarine: +4.6% critical hit chance per rank — core build for daggers focused on crits.
- Jade: +10% critical damage per rank, pair with Aquamarine for massive burst damage.
- Amethyst: +1 knockback per rank — low practical value, not recommended for main weapons.
- Topaz: +1 defense per rank — weak stat gain, only for early-game temporary gear.
Optimal Gem Combinations for New Players
- Galaxy Sword / Infinity Blade: 3 Rubies — pure maximum damage general build.
- Galaxy Hammer: 2 Emeralds + 1 Ruby — fixes its slow swing speed.
- Galaxy Dagger: 3 Aquamarines — permanent high critical hit rate.
- Early-game transitional weapons: 1 Ruby + 1 Topaz for balanced damage and survivability.
3. Prismatic Shard Weapon Enchantments
Slingshots and scythes cannot receive enchantments; only swords, clubs and daggers qualify.
Top Tier Enchantment Breakdown
- Crusader (Best Endgame Pick)
Deals 50% extra damage to ghosts, skeletons, mummies and all shadow monsters. Permanently prevents mummies from reviving, mandatory for mines and Skull Cavern.
- Vampiric
9% lifesteal on every hit. Eliminates frequent food consumption for solo deep mine and volcano runs, drastically boosting survival.
- Artful
Weapon special move cooldown reduced by 50%. Stacked with the Combat Level 10 Desperado profession, cooldowns drop by 75% for constant area burst attacks.
- Bug Killer
Doubles damage against spiders, grubs, rock crabs and desert armored beetles that resist regular weapons.
- Haymaker
Breaking weeds drops extra fiber and hay, great for casual farming players to stock livestock feed while clearing the farm.

Usage Tip
5. Full Endgame Forging Workflow (Infinity Blade Example)
- Farm enough Cinder Shards and apply 3 Ruby reforges to maximize raw damage.
- Stockpile Prismatic Shards and repeatedly reforge at the Volcano Forge until you roll Crusader.
- Combine two matching rings at the forge for upgraded stats (Iridium Band + Burglar Band recommended for crit and defense).
- Optional skin swap: Fuse a Rainbow Cat Sword into your main weapon to change its model while keeping all reforges and enchantments intact.
6. Extra Useful Forge Features
- Clear Reforges: Spend a small amount of Cinder Shards to erase all gem bonuses and re-customize your build freely.
- Ring Fusion: Merge two identical rings into one powerful upgraded ring with stacked stats.
- Skin Replacement: Fuse any spare weapon into your primary gear to permanently change its visual appearance without stat losses.
7. Common Forging Mistakes New Players Make
- Avoid Amethyst and Topaz for main weapon reforges — their stat gains are negligible and waste rare gems.
- Dragon Tooth buffs do not work on Galaxy/Infinity tier weapons; no need to farm Dragon Teeth for late-game gear.
- Prismatic enchantments are a single perk slot, while Dragon Tooth buffs stack separately and do not overwrite them.
- Prismatic Shards are rare early game — save them for your main weapon’s Crusader enchant instead of wasting them on temporary gear.
- The Mini Forge requires max Combat Mastery; early players must travel to Ginger Island to forge.
- Re-rolling enchantments fully replaces your current perk. Save your game before rolling for endgame enchants.
